Stacey Stanhope loves both painting and clay, so painting the bisque ware with a wax resist designs is a wonderful way to combine the two. The idea of incorporating the Vermont landscape and farm animals onto her pottery came as a natural progression from her painting, photography and move to rural Vermont. Her work is salt glazed, functional and beautiful

Stacey Stanhope Artist Bio

Stacey Stanhope is a studio potter in Marietta, Georgia. She graduated from Berry College with a BA in Painting & Ceramics and earned an MFA in Ceramics from Wichita State University. She exhibits throughout the Southeast and teaches workshops.
