Holiday entertaining and hospitality get a boost this year with MudFire's "Serve This" pottery exhibit and sale. The show opens with an artist reception on Thursday, October 21, 2004, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm, and will continue through November 20.
This show is dedicated to festive dinner feasts and includes such items as serving platters, punch bowls, cake pedestals, salad bowls, soup tureens, trays, and place settings.

More About Serve This
For this show we invited 17 artists with the special challenge of creating pieces to serve as the centerpiece for a magnificent table. We will bring you a selection of works by each artist, enabling hosts and hostesses to create a truly unique setting for their holiday entertaining. Traditional forms by some of the region's most established potters will be presented alongside more speculative delights such as shimmering abstractions and kitschy reinterpretations of cultural icons. Spice up your holiday feast with serving pieces worth talking about.
