Friends Reflecting on 35 Years - 2007

Ron Meyers and Rick Berman will be turning pots and spinning tales, reflecting on their 35 years of history together. The story begins in 1972, when Ron became Rick's teacher in graduate school at the University of Georgia. Their relationship began as teacher to student, and over the years has evolved as artist to artist, dealer to artist, and most importantly - friend to friend. Thirty five years later, the two sit down in front of two wheels at MudFire for an extremely rare public dialogue about life, pots, and everything that's happened in between. As time passes before our ears, these two amazing potters will be throwing, trimming, altering, decorating and otherwise haranguing clay into dozens of different forms.
