Now - December 31st, 2014
This show revolves around the PLATE - the center of the food universe. We all eat on plates, plates mean family dinner, holiday time, or Tuesday night on the couch with the dog eating pizza. Plates call to mind home, dinner at Grandma's house, or paying homage to a wonderful new recipe or CSA box full of veggies and meat.
This show has plates from many artists working in color, shape, form, and glazing techniques galore. This is hands-down the most stunning installation in the gallery this year. It just looks amazing to see all of these plates at once!
Starting on Halloween - October 31st - this work will be on view in the gallery and online - marking the beginning of eating season - from Thanksgiving turkey and pumpkin pie all the way through to your New Year's Day Feast!

More About PLATE
A celebration of plates in all shapes, colors, and forms. Everything from Amy Roberson's electric sweet-tart hues to Julie Covington's leafy stoneware beauties.
This collection celebrates makers of plates; makers of objects we use in our daily preparation to feed and care for ourselves and others. The celebrate nature's abundance, our good fortune to eat the food before us, and are frankly a feast for the eye as well. Who doesn't want to share dinner with a hedgehog, a paper plane or a corgi?
