MudFire Gallery welcomes Conner McKissack, Masayuki Sasaki, and Liz Zlot Summerfield for "Crisp" -- an exhibition of modernist functional pottery with clean lines and tight styling. This gallery exhibit and sale will be available for viewing March 18 through April 8 of 2006 at MudFire Gallery, 175 Laredo Drive, Decatur, GA 30030. An artist reception and opening party will be held from 5 pm to 9pm on Saturday, March 18, 2006.

Liz currently resides in Western North Carolina with her husband, Scott Summerfield. They both work out of their studios located on their farm in Bakersville. Liz grew up in northern California and moved to Boulder, Co where she completed her BA at the University of Colorado. Next she spent three years in Smithville, TN working in the studios at the Appalachian Center for Crafts. She worked in clay and fibers. Liz recently completed her Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Liz currently works as a full time artist from her home studio.
