The MudFire Gallery is a showcase for functional and sculptural pottery. The gallery represents nationally acclaimed potters as well as emerging artists from the Southeast. Serving as both a source of inspiration for our members and an educational forum for the community, the gallery celebrates this diverse and accessible artform by highlighting the work of different artists each month alongside an ongoing selection from our favorite artists.
Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday from Noon to 8:00 pm.
We are also happy to show off the gallery by appointment...we're here in the studio most all the time. Just call ahead at 404-377-8033 so we can have someone available to open the gallery for you.
Support your local potters! MudFire Gallery proudly presents the ATL clay scene - in all of its glory! Featuring work by Barry Gregg, Michele Smith, John Roberts, Marissa Hudson, Brian Gialloreto, Adrina Richard, Yoshimi Hosoda, Stacey Pearson, Luba Sharapan, Chase Folsom, Carol Brull, and Vernon Smith. Show opens Saturday, August 9 and continues through September 6, 2008
MudFire's Front Room gallery shows work on an ongoing basis by a selection of ceramic artists from around the country. We are currently showing work by the following artists. Web pages for each artist are in the works, but feel free to call us with questions in the meantime...we're at 404-377-8033.
We are always excited to be introduced to new artists and see their work. Please do not visit without calling ahead first, we will not be able to meet with you unexpectedly.
We strongly prefer you to introduce yourself by mailing a CD. Please include images of your recent work, complete artist information, typical prices, process information, your full contact info, and anything specific about how you would like to get involved. If you are sending us anything you would like returned, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
We will review your materials, add you to our Call for Artists list, send a confirmation that we received your information, and consider your work for inclusion in both the Front Room Gallery and for our future exhibit schedule.
Thank you for your interest in MudFire Gallery, we look forward to getting to know more about you and your work!
