2012 Calls for Artists

MudFire Gallery has no remaining open calls for artists for 2012 shows. We will post our 2013 shows during mid-2012. In the meantime, please feel free to send submissions for general representation. Also, to be sent future calls for artists via email, please click the "Signup for Our Newsletter" button to the left and make sure to check the box for calls for artists.

How to Apply

If you are interested in being considered for one of our themed shows, please be advised that we are happy to review artist portfolios that do not directly address the theme but rather serve to convey your style, craftsmanship, and studio techniques. If you find the theme intriguing and would like to create work especially for the show, that's peachy. With your submission, please indicate "Representative Work", along with a detailed description of what you would be doing especially for the show. If you have existing work that suits the theme, wonderful! Indicate "Actual Work Submitted" in your application.

If you have an artist website with current artist information and a gallery of recent work, you may respond by simply emailing us a link along with any other information you’d like us to consider. Please make sure that the website or email note includes pricing information. You may email us your submissions to our special submissions-only email box: mudfireclayworks@gmail.com. Please do NOT send call-for-artist related material to ANY other email you may have for MudFire.

Otherwise, please send a CD with full artist information, recent images, pricing information, and any other information you'd like us to consider. You can mail the CD to MudFire, 175 Laredo Drive, Decatur, GA 30030.

There is no fee to apply. We are interested in finding artists that are new to us, as well as hearing from past friends that might be interested in the shows.
